Correction,the data in the header should reflect 2009,not 2012.
I was surfing 'Ford aerodynamic research' on GOOGLE and came across thisFord Probe X | Cunningham ID

The Cd 0.22 Probe-III of 1983 looks like a Merkur Scorpio/XR4Ti hybrid.

Somebody is dreaming if they think that 1983 Probe III had anything near a .22 CD.

The XR4Ti and Scorpio are linear descendents of the Probe III.
At Cd 0.34,they lack the full belly pan,active front airdam,and a few other tricks.

I saw a recent post on here challenging the original Insight's Cd, according to someone's windtunnel testing. With all of those aerodynamic features, supposedly it is really not that aerodynamic?

Really?

The Insight tested at .30 Cd.
The current model Prius tested at .26 at the same test session.

I emailed the fellow there at the wind-tunnel about the condition of the car, and he believes the car was not missing any panels etc.

I own a 5th generation Civic hunchback and the Cd was quoted in Road & Track / Car & Driver as .31, with the VX having a " slightly better Cd owing to a small underbody fairing in front of the rear bumper ".

If Honda tested the VX in the same tunnel as the Insight, that might push my Cd to .36 - yikes !

John Boniface of GM claims that their Warren Michigan tunnel indicated Cd 0.30 for Insight-I.If this is an SAE crosswind-averaged Cd,then Honda's zero-yaw Cd 0.25 ,may still be valid.GM doesn't provide the context.
A2 Wind tunnel claims same Cd 0.30.This tunnel is incapable of measuring anything but zero-yaw due to its narrow test section.
And while GM and A2 report identical Cds for say the Tesla S,they come up with different Cds for other cars.
And up to a point,all GM Cds have been down-graded.(Sunraycer went from Cd 0.125,to Cd 0.143,for a 14.4% discrepancy).That would make Insight Cd 0.285 right there!).
Hucho,in 1985 indicated higher than reported drag for Honda products measured in VW's climatic tunnel,but the numbers were closer to the standard deviation of earlier tunnel comparisons with the JARI wind tunnel results.
We may want to wait for other 'naked' cars to be tested at A2,and see if the same trend line exists.
