Dude - if you've got it still try driving with a top rpm limit of 2200rpm acclerating at 1/4 throttle. On the 170 bhp versions with the paddle dsg it gives some amazing results! glad you liked it for the most part. :)

The Mrs has a Skoda Octavia - think Jetta/Golf with some GBP removed - which has the same 140 TDI engine and 6sp gearbox.

She has a leaden right foot and a need for speed (she tested it to Max - backed off at 140 on the speedo) but gets regular MPG of over 50 - Imperial. Its a cool car.
