2015 Honda NM4, Akira-ish
Under Honda's new futuristic bodywork design with integral storage and low-draw full LED lighting system, there 's a 670cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with four valves per cylinder, automatic dual-clutch transmission and ABS. The low 25 inch rider's seat and forward angled cylinder assembly gives this future-looking cruiser, a very low center of gravity. The 18-inch front wheel and fattie 200mm rear tire gives a muscular 'Murican look.

Interesting looking and interesting ergonomics. I'd like to try one out.

Radical look if you're into style. But I would rather have the Integra or CTX700 which share the same fuel economy engine and dual clutch auto trans.

At least for me the most impressive feature is the AMT. In my country, the only motorcycles fitted with automatic transmission are scooters...

A week ago I was chatting with a woman (a very experienced motorcyclist) who has one of the "adventure tour" versions of the Honda 700, and she spoke very positively about the bike and her experiences with it.
The FF versions above look like they might run short of cornering clearance, but then Honda is probably not marketing them to people interested in that kind of spirited riding. The NM4 styling is OK from the side, but from the front I'm not wild about it. cheers, Michael |
