2017 Honda Fit - Kammback spoiler?

I'm the proud owner of a new 2017 Honda Fit. I was interested in finding a Kammback type of spoiler that I could use to replace the stock little duckbill the car comes with. Anyone know if one is being made, or potential fuel savings?

Yes, http://www.motortrend.com/cars/honda...v-first-drive/. But the mileage gain is obfuscated by the EV conversion.

Followed by aerohead's analysis a few posts later.

I hadn't thought about this before. It took about 10 minutes to learn the above. When I was closing tabs, I found this:

Undoubtedly #4 in this image is likely the best for drag reduction purposes. Remember to compare your choice to an overlay of "the template" on your fit. What is that? Something like this:

Search this site for much more, if you have not already.

I hope that helps.

It does help a bit. The only issue I'm running into at the moment is the Fit EV is the previous generation/body style, rather than the new one I'm running. Otherwise I would snag a bunch of EV aerodynamic parts and bolt them up.

Yeah. I was wondering that. The trail end shape changed quite a bit. No doubt these do not "fit" (pun). But I assume there are versions for the new gen too. Look around. Post your research.

I'm faced with the same 'opportunity' on my lift-back (sort of an elongated hatch) body; the part has never existed. I have a sheet of textured aluminum about 3x4ft. I may use that if I can find a way to wire-wrap the edge. I also like the idea of making it in perforated sheet metal.

The other half of your question... potential fuel savings? On a less aerodynamic car you might see 1 or 2 mpg. On a high mpg car, less.

You want more — because there is more. The Morelli fluid tail:
