2024 Ferrari SF90 Stradale active aero

This may help some members with their 'high-performance' aspirations.
Ferrari spent $millions sorting out the specifics of their 'downforce/ drag reduction systems', and it may give low-buck, or no-buck budgets some insight into what the 'big-dogs' come up with.https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/magazi...-sf90-stradale

o try to give an idea of this complexity he uses a diagram showing the passage of individual bundles of snake-like air streams, each colour-coded according to their direction and role.
Not shown.

I see the "snakes", but not the mentioned colors.
Interesting comment that they do not interact, and I wonder how they achieved that, or just observed that outcome.
Nice share.

Stradale

Jonny Lieberman, of MOTOR TREND reported that Ferrari's official press release contained 14-paragraphs on aerodynamics-related content for the SF90.
I went to Ferrari's website and failed to locate it.
Perhaps someone else will have a better result.
The two-position rear wing, which can be seen operating in the short video was of interest.

A single picture is worth a thousand... 17 paragraphs.

Stupid me, relying on memory got it 'wrong' again!
It's 14-paragraphs, and it's for the SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano, hybrid supercar, an additional $56,000 option.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* The car delivers 859-pounds downforce at 155-mph.
* Both front and rear wings can be defeated as a drag reduction strategy.
* The rear wing breathes from above and below in normal driving.
* For downforce, an electrically-driven ' lower section ( a.k.a. the shut-off Gurney flap ) drops down to close off the flow underneath and create a totally new tail geometry.' Jonny Lieberman

Since drag and lift both vary as the square of the velocity, calculating what downforce the Ferrari would produce at 120-mph, would simply be a comparison between the square of 120, and 155, as a multiplier for 859.
