25PSI? Yeah... forgot to check those...

So I went out and checked my tires on Cara the other day, because the noise from the rear tires seemed louder, and the front tires were harder to turn w/o the PS (EOC).

It turns out, I haven't checked them in quite some time, I guess... 20PSI on 3 tires, and 25 on the fourth... Hm... no wonder it handles funny?

So, I pumped all 4 back to 40, and now it's GREAT!

I'm going to remove the PS belt, as well. I don't need it at all, and the wife's car is running just fine, so I don't see her needing it anytime soon.

Ahh, but if he hadn't let the pressure drop, he wouldn't have gotten to feel the difference after pumping:)

I've noticed that I'm coasting further...maintaining speed longer during EOC. This could have a very positive effect, I think. She's like a new van again.

Christ -

Ah yes, the old too little PSI in the tire robs MPG trick. Me thinks KAOS had a hand in your little misfortune.

(I haven't checked mine in over a month ... Damn You KAOS!)

I drive the van around for miles a day with the engine off.. it's not hard to steer at all, even at parking lot speeds... especially now, with 40 PSI in the tires.

Worked on a friends tacoma, tires were bulging a bit. Sure enough 18 psi up front and 21 in the rear:eek:

factory only recomends 26 f and 29 r:confused: seems low, but wasn't my truck so thats what I set it at.
