2,005 Prius for 1/4 blue book!
I would jump on this deal if I thought there was any possibility of it being right, I paid less than this for a 1,987 Honda in 2,000 with 150,000 miles. I e-mailed the owner, but it just does not make any sense. As long as it drives at all, it should be worth a couple of times the strange amount requested.

We've all heard stories of the divorcee selling the ex-husband's new Mercedes for 500 bucks just to spite him.
So, can't blame you for jumping on this to see if it was real!

I think that I would feel bad for the ex-husband. He was not necessarily a jerk...
I hate Craigslist. It seems like they prohibit full literacy. I always exclude dealers just because of the visual noise, like all of the ampersands in the original ad.
So, you need to put in a reasonable minimum price or you will get garbage. I should not get new Prii when I set maximum price to $4,000!
I would take it, though... :P
Anyway, there was only one result, "Hybrid-2005 Toyota Prius IV - $2191 (phoenix)" Craigslist says that was posted over one month ago by a dealer and the ad states that it has eighty-six thousand miles.
If the price was accurate, that should have sold over a month ago.

Suspect high miles since none listed.

First question should be how many miles since they made sure to list everything but that.
