The Smart Fortwo might be small, but its drag coefficient isn't.
Even the Smart Roadster Coupe has a higher CDA than my larger Spyder.

A 0.8 CDI in a Spyder with a fastback hardtop would be insanely efficient....

An ex had a Can Am Spyder. I never understood how it was a cabriolet, roadster, targa, or especially spyder.

Canadians welcome! This looks like a great car. Set up a fuel log here at Ecomodder! I just added this vehicle to the Single Run Average list and you get the prize... this picture of a sticker:

There's a build description of sorts for the Little Car here.

I just filled up this morning. It was 8.07 gallons over 719.3 miles, which comes out to 89.13 MPG.

Looks like we're off to a pretty good start this summer.

I added my Thanks to your thread today.

I checked the mileage in the XFI ($1K, 138,000 miles) once and it was 45 MPG. This inspires me to do better (once the ignition switch is reinstalled). It has some of your mods already. I'm driving the Superbeetle right now, and I've always fueled it with clear premium, so I know the drill. There are two local sources ten miles in either direction.

I have a set of 15" Moon disks I'd like to cut down to 13".
