$8000 Electric car
The Lishidedidong Urban Supercar EV is NOT a Lamborghini in China | CarNewsChina.com - China Auto News
$8,000, 93 mile range, and decent capacity and size. I'm sure it's lacking in safety but it's really not bad at all... Obviously it should be lithium as well. |
"Specs: the Urban Supercar is powered by a 72V electric motor with an output of 10 hp and five (5) nm. Battery is 42V/10Ah lead-acid. Top speed is a decent 80 kilometer per hour and range is 150 kilometer. Size: 3880/1650/1450, wheelbase is 2600 and curb weight 1200 kg."
that doesn't seem to add up, 7460 watts/42 is 177A, out of a 10ah lead acid battery? and a 90 mile range? 2600lbs? 50mph car at 42 volts is a maybe. |

How is that $8k? For the body kit? Doesn't seem any better made than the electric three wheelers and quadricycles they've been peddling around those parts for years.
|
ah, it is 120ah, that makes a little more sense. $8k still seems like a bit much for lead. Don't mind it being a glorified pedal car though, would be nice to have that option here.

Man, that is one ugly ride, though.

10 hp supercar
Now that's abusing the word supercar. Form does not follow function on this one. |
10 HP subcar? :D
