92 Civic VX Peoria IL
 

After purchasing a 98 Civic LX I have decided to put my old VX up for sale,

I had some fun with the add, but overall this is a pretty solid VX

The Good
*Excellent mileage (55+ on the highway)
*Runs like a sewing machine (I drive this car to Chicago and further sometimes without any issues)
*AC blows cold
*Remote start (impress all the ladies)
*Manual 5 spd, Manual steering, manual windows, manual locks (nothing to break!)
*Super clean interior (even the cup holders that are broken in 99% of these work)
*Upgraded stereo and speakers (no sub or anything stupid just a nice cd player with usb and aux jack)
*Tune up ~5k miles ago (new plugs, new sparkplugs, SP wires, cap, rotor, air filter, & transmission fluid)
*New factory style exhaust with lifetime warranty (whisper quiet! new from downpipe back napa receipts included for warranty redemption)
*All receipts for parts and service included

The bad
*190k miles (many of these run well past 300k without engine or major overhaul)
*The car was in a front end collision, hood front bumper and associated parts are green making it a bi-chromatic color scheme (this is really a positive if you are obsessed with Christmas or if you are purchasing this for your teenager and you want them to remain a virgin)
*The rear quarter panels are beginning to rust (weight savings!)
*The speedometer- intermittently works (this just started happening, I replaced the VSS but the problem still happens, most likely the speedo itself from what I have looked into. Again depending on how you look at this it could be a positive when debating a speeding ticket)
*The AC belt slips/screeches at startup- doesn't slip while driving but needs to be replaced but I haven't gotten to it yet
*The factory 13" lightweight VX wheels are gone and have been replace with 14" alloys

I've been looking for a car like yours. Funny, I'm a surveyor from the Madison, WI area and I did the layout for a Pizza Ranch in Morton. The bad part is that you are 4 hours away from my location. Price drop again?!
