Cavalier Owners: Is your dash cracked?

Because well.... mine is.

At first I thought just that front piece had cracked under extreme heat, seeing as the car has spent 12 years in Florida. And that I could simply replace that strip. Not so! I have to replace the entirety of the dash, including removing the steering wheel in order to change it. (Thanks, Chevy!) As I was finding out how to remove the dash, I realized the entirety of the dash is cracked, everywhere, and that's just the parts you can see that is cracked.

Looking for a good condition dash that isn't broken into little pieces is proving more difficult than I thought it would be. Junkyards have none, and any cavaliers that are getting parted out also have cracks on that piece (and I assume everywhere else).

So basically, yeah, where are the Cavalier fans here and what have you done about your dash looking like garbage?

Yours is better off then mine is; at least you have the pieces that broke, mine have been lost through the years and now there is a gaping hole in my dash

I actually just got an aftermarket piece. It looks fantastic and is drop in replacement, just got to pay for it.

Selling the car now. 2 cars don't make sense financially.
