Aero front end mods 98' frontier

It is hot out there in the garage so I need to cool off inside and post my progress. I bought 3 sheets of 24 x 36 aluminum and need suggestions on how to best use them for greatest wind drag reduction. So far a patched a big hole in my wheel well and am working on covering the fog light slots on the front bumper.

After taking a drive I am pleased with the results. Less wind noise for sure. The holes point directly into the suspension so blocking that off should save lots of turbulence. I plan on using Bondo to re-create the curves of the bumper and blend it in better. Then I will paint. Hopefully the plates will be invisible by the time I am done.

Looks good:thumbup: I have similar holes in my jeep bumper for fog lamps. Still need to get around to filling those.

I did something similar, MUCH cheaper, and nearly invisible to the fog light holes on my Ram. Packing tape. Took 3 minutes, and if I decide to remove it, another two minutes.
