Mr. Tatra

At least turning over in his grave! Just wait 'til you see the shot of the car with the drag chute out! Kidding.

maybe they thought since it was already missing two wheels to other ones would come off too, and they'd better pack an extra set... but since someone left an engine in the booth they'd have to put them on the roof.

You know, I'm not going to argue about this one. The fact that someone has the nerve to take a prewar Czech car on a road trip is awesome.

Great find, .Cd! I wonder how many aerodynamicysts around the world have that pinned on their cubicle walls...

( Actually, I added the text and the arrow. )
I just thought it was a little funny and wanted to share.

Glad you all liked it !

One more thing that I notice upon closer inspection - they also added mudflaps to the rear wheels.

I wonder if the fellow even knows what he is driving ? ( aerodynamically speaking. ) Surely....right ??

in all fairness, despite perhaps being of historical value, it is a car, and roofracks are there for when you run out out booth space. from the looks of it they seem to be on some sort of roadtrip, or perhaps an oldtimer ralley,

if they're makeing a trip with other oldtimers on bad roads the guy beind them sure would appreciate these mudflaps keeping stones from being cast in has 1930's chrome grill or windshield. and since they might have packed all their gear in the booth, the only place to put those tires would be on the roof!

there's no shame in roofracks as long as you're carying something with them!
they seem to be useing the car as a normal car, wich is sort of what if was build for.

its better to screw the aerodynamics of your car once a year when you need to cary something big, that to drive a pickup with screwed aerodynamics all year to cary something big once a year.

still as an image it's pretty funny for those who know what they're looking at.

You seem to have taken offense to my comments. I wasn't criticizing this guy at all.
I was just pointing out what I thought was funny.

P.S.
I'm from Texas, and I always thought the trunk of a car was called 'the boot' in other countries. ( vs. booth )
I learned something new today.
