Nicely done, Edgar!

Unfortunately, it negates about 90% of our forum here. :- )

It ought to be a “sticky” at the top of this sub forum.

I read it in an Austrailian accent, because i watch your youtube videos.

It's funny, one never hears one's accent.

Here in Australia, I moved from South Australia's capital Adelaide (an almost 'English' Australian accent) to Queensland (a much broader Australian accent) to near Australia's capital Canberra (all sorts of Australian accents, because most people living in Canberra have come from some other parts of Australia) to country New South Wales, again a broader Australian accent, but different to Queensland. But they're all very subtle variances.

When we went to the south of England, the people in shops couldn't even understand my wife (who speaks with an 'Adelaide' Australian accent). And we had some difficulties with what they were saying. Wales and Scotland? Gosh!

We didn't have any problems - with communication either way - in the US.

In Europe it wasn't so much accents as expressions - in the main, people spoke amazingly good English. I remember one incident, though, when we were booking into private accommodation in northern Germany.

Wi-Fi ("why-fie") became "wiffy" and that floored us for a good few moments.

Gee, I miss international travel....

Why don't you suggest it?
