I'm more exercised over ' excercised'.
Long story short, this is what aerohead calls the 'Paris Dressmaker Syndrome.

So 'The Money' going for the 'The Looks' as that sells better than ass looking 'all cars will look the same' aero?
aerohead:
You're conspicuous by your absence here.
But I can guess why you're doing your 'selective blindness' to questions again here:
This says you know and admit that car makers follow The Money rather than whats best for fuel economy and makes your fence hopping to the other side of this standpoint to suit your arguments elsewhere look like Troll behavior.
We don't want to give any 'airtime' to that now do we!

aerohead only has Internet access one or two days a week. Argumentation shall be asynchronous.

In that thread:

Here:
Car/engine makers follow the looks money. Don't settle for std; Mod it!
(And 'forget' the added weight)
So which is it?
To me it seems clear that it's whatever suits him.
And that what suits him seems to be to covertly increase global fuel and car/engine sales.
Furthermore his silence here is his easiest way to avoid giving that fact 'airtime'...

Similar to the Marxist's "Your silence condemns you!"
Categorically, the false dilemma, or Fallacy of the Excluded Middle.

It's asynchrony not malicious intent.

I don't recall which thread it was where I was frustrated downloading this image from it's source.
But then I remembered Print Screen:

So now I don't recall the attribution. It's what they get for trying to padlock pixels.

I don't recall which thread, but someone recently asked about putting a wing under the diffuser. Here's a video on the topic.
More generally, at 4:30 are the parameters for a multi-element wing, such as used on F-1 race cars in the front and as barge boards.
