My Dad's car! Last three tank average is 72mpg. He tried to start a fuel log but he can't logon. He is having trouble getting ahold of the moderators to reset his password, but I will try to answer questions. It may be slow responses because I may need to call him for answers.

Wow! What materials did he use for the bumper, the undertray, and the rear?

ecoTex 04-28-2014 11:33 AM

Front bumper is abs. Under tray is 10mm coroplast screwed to 1/8"x2" aluminum flat. The rear elements are all sheet aluminum.

Is that partial boattail on piece? It's awesome.

Daox 04-28-2014 11:44 AM

Very nice!

ecoTex 04-28-2014 11:54 AM

No, it is several pieces.

This is the prototype for the adjustable cooling shutters. They are separately adjustable for radiator and A/C condenser.

This is the new version on my uncle’s VX. I guess they decided the separate shutters were not necessary.
