Another Air Powered Vehicle

Original story link is dead :( But that's Make's coverage....

IIRC
Range: 7 miles
Top Speed: 18 mph

The maker said it's really not practical for long commutes - but perfect for a fleet of delivery scooters.

forgot the photo :D

I wonder if he fills the tanks to their rated psi.... High pressure air isn't something everyone has easy access too...

Interesting idea but so impractable. 7 miles with a top speed of 18. Just ride a bike. I wouldn't want to jump any curbs with it. Bike couriers would smoke it with little or no maintenance to deal with.

Probably a fun project though.

with the stack of regulators he has I would guess that he has high pressure tanks, 3,000-5,000psi I would guess, not sure where you get a compressor that will handle that kind of pressure, but if those were in the 150psi range then I would guess he might get a mile or less at 10mph or less out of a fill up.
about ten years ago I read about a guy who had a bicycle that was air powered, had a custom over sized frame and it apparently increased speed by about 3mph, of course it had a low pressure system, with an on board compressor for use going down hills.

Is that perhaps a LED headlight he put together there?
