S10 runs on 100% hydrogen
my friend george has been working on this since 2000, its not fast but it idles and puts down the road. It uses a 6 cell series direct port injection, one for each cylinder.

But for how long before the battery goes dead? as I assume he is making hydrogen from electricity and the engine can not produce enough to support it's self, so at some point the battery goes dead, I would guess 10-15 minutes at idle.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't hear idling, I don't see putting down the road, I just see a cloud of vapor. Doesn't seem very convincing for 10 years of labor. |

You know what's cool? The alternator doesn't appear to be spinning at all... which, of course, signifies that the engine isn't running. Which, of course, makes this thread a lie. Which, by default, makes it fail.
