another project idea: electronically controlled grill block
 

A bunch of people are making static grill blocks. How about making an electronic controlled grill block that can open and close like the lone on the Honda at:

It doesn't seem too tough to build. Has anyone tried to make one like that?

I'm in the midst of it.A little different approach probably.If it's fully automatic,it's got to accommodate all possible contingencies,with zero failures.If the thing goes south on you when you're locked in traffic,its gonna get real regretable.All the bits are out there,and many possible solutions.

I was thinking to have it triggered to open when the electric fan turns on.
