Any Suzuki dr200s owners out there?

I am in the process of purchasing a 2019 model with only 56 miles on it. I understand that Suzuki is claiming that it can get 88 miles per gallon. It has a 520 chain with Factory 15 / 45 setup. I know I will be probably 90% Street 10% Trail Max. I'm pretty sure I want to go to a 16 front tooth so I can keep the RPM's down a little bit on the road. I would like to hear your opinions or what you have done. I'm a little embarrassed to say it's almost been two years since I've been back on here but it's nice to be back! I have two other larger street bikes. A 1983 Honda 650 Silverwing Interstate, and a 2007 Honda ST1300 full dresser, so a dual sport rounds out my package so to speak.

The 2019 Suzuki DR200S is the affordable motorcycle that can tackle a dirt trail or be a street commuter, and get 88 mpg with its reliable, 199cc engine, complete with push-button electric-starting, telescopic front forks, a 3.3-gallon tank, and abundant torque. This makes the DR200S the intelligent choice for trail enthusiasts and commuters alike.

You got the sales pitch down pat! So even though I love Hondas through and through, the ct125 was just not fast enough for me to travel a long ways on, and the 250 series would just use more gas than I care to. This has a huge fuel tank compared to others in the same class oh, and as I hope to travel out to the to the toolies many times, I wanted that extra fuel volume.

That was just DuckDuckGo's first result.

Have you considered a tail box? Streamlining, plus it could keep your back warm. :)

I might consider that. I haven't taken possession of it yet. I actually found it at a dealership in Sturgis South Dakota of all places, and due to life and schedules I'm awaiting enclosed delivery of it hopefully within the next 3 weeks or so. I am able to get 55 miles per gallon with the Honda ST1300, and up to about 64 with the 83 Honda GL 650 Silverwing Interstate

Honestly dr200 is number one in my book. It will go 80 max though not 88. Expect 75mph. But yes if you stay off the interstate and stay below 60 it will get 80-90mpg. Its the best combination of moped, motorcycle, dirt bike, reliable, and lightweight as far as i see.
I have a 1987 DR 125 (sp125)

Thanks, but the 88 figure represents Suzuki's idea of the gas mileage not the top speed
