Anybody looking for an XFI and live in the South?
93-Geo metro-$1700.OBO (St.Augustine)
I already have this guy talked down to 1500 bucks, but my wife will kill me if I bring home another stray! Just thought I'd pass it along to you guys since I'm trying to stay married It's in St Augustine area, it'll sell PDQ FYI, he sent me a pic of the VIN and I'd post it but I don't know how, but it definitely at least started out life as an XFI, has the "MS" vin |
Saw that. Looks like a good buy.

My plan since day one was to find an XFI, but I ended up with the Festiva two years ago since it was too good a deal to pass up at the time.
I'm perfectly happy with the hooptie, but unfortunately, two weeks from now I will begin commuting with my wife, who finds the lack of a/c less than amusing! So I've been looking for a replacement for the Festiva, something with a/c, and I just happened to stumble across this gem. Somebody's gonna get a good deal! |

Yeahhhh . . . . .
Apparently I forgot to mention that while she hates that the Festiva doesn't have a/c, she also hates the car in general. The sweet mods I've thrown on it recently didn't really help the cause Recent quote from my lovely wife "so, now your car has a wing?" accompanied by a stern/sarcastic/horrified look . . . . |
What's the difference between the XFI and the normal? To bad I bought my corolla I might have flown out and got it. Oh well.

XFI version was the no frills, stripped to the bone Metro
Had an eco cam, almost no options, didn't even come with a passenger side mirror (much like my Festiva) I think they were lighter too, and had like 45 HP i.l.o. the usual 55 or 60 They were built for one reason: economy |
Hey cowmeat, once when my daughter saw how I had modified one of my vehicles see said "Oh Dad, I see you got the Goober option!
