Anyone else would prefer a Royal Enfield over a Harley-Davidson?
Spotted this Classic 500 EFI last week

OTOH the cooling could be expected to be more effective. |
Count me in!

1000% true for me, even if I wanted over 1000cc there is that guy making those Enfields as well and still probably less than a HD.

Nah. I’d get a Harley street 500 first. Not unreasonable price at $6900. Liquid cooled V-twin.

I like the new 650 twins ($5800 - $6000)
http://imagesvc.timeincapp.com/v3/fo...3Fquality%3D85 A friend of mine had one of the 500cc singles and everything you read about them is true. He spent more time wrenching than riding. I've rented the most recent Harley Softtails and I could see owning one if they were about 1/2 the price. Fun bike but not for $19,000. |
I don't think the modern injected, electronic spark versions could be that bad. If I was buying I would spend $5000 on this version.

Haven't seen the 650 twins yet, but since they're parallel-twin instead of V they might have a more effective cooling compared to a Harley-Davidson.
