Tpms ("live" in-cabin tire pressure readout?)

TireRack has a system that involves 4 screw on caps and a receiver to alert you somehow of a difference in pressure. Anyone here have experience with something like this?

What I'd like to have is a system where all four tire pressures are shown on a display in real time.

the infiniti Q45 has this system stock. It's nice but I wouldn't spend my money on adding it.
On my last set of tires I had them filled with nitro. The nice thing about nitro is you don't get the swing in psi from cold to hot. It holds the psi at what it starts at.
Since doing the nitro I hardly ever check the psi anymore because it's right where I want it. 43psi.
When I travel or plan to travel more than 5hrs on the freeway, I run by and they bump me to 48psi.

My wife's Pontiac has a system like that stock as well. I still check tire pressures every Saturday morning.

Kind of a neat thing to geek out on but I like to do regular and frequent visual inspections and pressure checks, thus rendering such a thing unnecessary.

I actually check them every morning. The reason I'd like to have the monitor is to watch changes in pressure as the tires heat up.

run nitro. nothing to watch.

that is the whole point of nitro. steady, even psi makes the tire last longer. also, what you see is what you get. you don't hsve to check them cold....check them hot.....

Mainly just curious to see how the pressure changes with heat from tire squirm from low pressures to higher pressures. You would think (know) that a carcass that is squirming more would produce more heat and make the pressures go up a higher percentage than a 'properly' inflated tire.

All the tire people around here don't want to inflate to higher than sidewall max (assuming liability?) so bumping them to 50 with nitrogen is out. Got them to at least go 44 psi and I added the rest with air.
