arduino and kwp2000 protocol
 

Hi to everybdy,

i would like to interact to some ecus of my car and they use kwp2000 protocol.
I would like to talk to them using kwp2000 protocol and not scantool protocol, but elm327 chip is made only for scantool protocol.

someone know if there is a chip suitable for this?

I dont think it needs any additional chip.
I have USB-KKL cable that has only RS232 converter chip inside, and it can understand KWP2000 and KW1281 and some other.

I'm not sure about this, but hope it helps :)
