Assist a repair decision?

Power steering on my daughter's 2006 BMW 325i. I bought a PS Rack rebuild kit for the E90 (from Duralast).

Pictured are 4 O-rings in a row, from left to right: (1) old one, (2) new one, (3) old one, (4) new one. The #3 was the one that leaked and even in this not-great photo you can see that it is partly blown out.

Notice that the old ones appear to have larger diameter and are thinner in thickness. The old ones slid off easily and their inner diameter was basically the same as the fitting they were on. So, ...

Question: knowing all that, is it reasonable to assume the old ones have stretched and hardnened through years of heat cycles and that the new ones are appropriate and will work? In other words, I can stretch the new ones into place, yes? Or should I go to a supply shop I know and hope I can get in (COVID) and find a closer diameter/thickness match?

I am inexperienced with power steering systems. Thanks for all your assistance, friends!

Most o-rings I've changed on P/S systems have to be stretched to fit. I'd assume the old ones were loose from age. If the OD is the same I think the new ones will be fine.

What he said. Use the ones the part came with.
