All the planet's space agencies are mobilizing together to mount a concerted counterattack, to save us from the bombardment of the massive, 0.000000000000000000000167-gram ions, as they pummel the thermosphere, as close as 215-miles above sea level.
Oh the horribleness of it all!

Good to see them mobilizing a concerted counterattack, instead of flying on private jets to luxurious resorts to do nothing except talk about their 4th vacation house on the beach.
