Autobahn Blind Spot Mirror

Stumbled upon these and wanted to know if anybody has seen/used them. They seem to be really good mirrors for an outside mirror delete. (They're pretty darn expensive though)

I do not see an image, I just read:

Quote:

It sticks to the windshield with a peel and stick adhesive. It sticks tight, but can be removed if necessary.
That just confuses me.

I wonder if Amazon.com: Auxilary Wide-Angle Side-View Mirror (Medium): Automotive would do any good as a replacement for the side mirrors, especially if you have a better one inside.

Heh. I do not think that you should mount it to your window, you wouldn't be able to lower it! :)

Wouldn't the A-pillar partially stick out in front of it, further reducing its profile?

The police and state laws don't care about our fuel economy improvements, and while the laws do vary from one state to the next in many states it is required a vehicle have a certain number of rear view mirrors and to my understanding they need to be located in certain places so better study the law before making modifications you can't talk yourself out of.

I looked up motorcycle laws and some specified that you needed to be able to see two hundred yards behind you, although most states did not say anything regarding mirrors.

I imagine that few states neglect cars, though, and it is probably something similar, and I do not really think that you can quite see behind you with an inside mirror, just over your shoulder, say, at your 7 o'clock and your 5 o'clock.

These are the ones that you'll really see on the AutoBahn.
On driving school and towing vehicles ;-)
