Im extremely happy with my results lately. Today I had a 45 minute drive on Interstate, I don't know how many miles it is though. Before I started getting into ecmodding/hypermiling This drive took me over a half a tank of gas. Next time I did the drive, I started to slow down, draft, and took the wing of my mustang and it got down to a a little under half a tank. I recently made an air dam for the car. Today I had to take this same drive.. I did it this drive with only a quarter of a tank! I was very weary of my speed, didn't go over 65 and safely drafted most of the way. Lets just say I'm excited to learn more driving techniques and do some more mods!

Are you tracking mpg when you fill up? Zero the trip odometer. Then at next fill you figure your mpg from miles/ gallons.

No im not able to track it right now, the worm gear needs to be replaced in the odometer.
Yeah id go over a half a tank in 45 minutes, id be on interstate the whole time doing 65, 70 with the RPMs in between 1,5 and 2 grand, sometimes a little more.

@ GNU is that you on your (what I think to be) a CBR? I tore apart and have been rebuilding my FZR for stunting.

Yeah thats me...yes cbr f4i...old fzr is probably not the best choice for stunting but it can be fun...

There is something wrong with your car....at half a tank per 45 mins that would mean you are getting like 12 mpg

Nice, reind of mine had f4i great bikes! I know a few guys who used there fizzer to start out, I can clutch it up in first when it was stock. Ive done a bit to it before I pulled the engine out, hack up the air box, K&N drop in, built a header for it, got a good can, stiff front springs. Now im getting 520 chain, changing the gears, and jetting it.. blah blah.

This is awesome feeling. I can understand it when it first time happened to me. Enjoy it :)
