Basic Geo Metro Dent repair
I took out a dent in my 1996 Geo Metro.
Video explains it all. YouTube - Electro-Metro Update: Dent Repair -Ben |
Nice post. I have a feeling this will come in handy soon. Good production values, too.

When you're putting a nice coat of wax on her, remember not to apply too much pressure right there or you'll be pulling that interior panel off again!
To remove those panel push-pin-connector-thingies, push the center pin down/in, and then carefully lift the entire thing straight out with your fingernails without using force of any kind. |
I do dent repairs quite often. My Metro was loaded with them and I got them out the best I could, but eventually I will get it perfect.

Great video mate, I might try that on a few small dents on my car eventually.

Sometimes it sucks to have a car that dents so easy. It's always cool to have a car that fixes so easy... Ironic.

Mine are in weird spots which have given me some problems! corner of front driver side right behind headlight! the passenger door lock has been pryed off so there's a dent right next to the hole where they cranked on the lock. Also I believe larger dents are much easier to get out than small ones. The big ones seem to want to go back in to shape, kinda like they have more potential energy to pop back. The small dings are the hard ones!! At least for me.
Any tips??? |
Woah, check this out -->
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/501379...ith_airduster/ For smaller dents do this (on a really hot day, or heat it up with a hair dryer) --> http://www.metacafe.com/watch/820799...asy_and_cheap/ ahhh... the internet, how did we survive without it!? |
