Battery drain from charger.?

I have a 10amp charger manual and a 1.5 amp charger smart one. I leave them both clamped to the battery. Do you think these. Chargers drain the battery when they are not plugged in the wall? Sc

If they are broken then they could drain the battery, but if everything is working right on them then they should have a diode that prevents battery drain.
If you want to check for sure then hook an amp meter up and see, but assuming that they are not showing any signs of damage and are charging the batteries when they are plugged in, then they are fine.

I have one "smart" charger that doesn't like being hooked up to the battery before it's plugged in, I tried to use this charger on my electric car to keep the AUX battery charged but I had to pull one of the leads off for a few seconds each time I plugged the car in other wise it wouldn't start charging.

Yes, certain (read: cheap) chargers will definitely drain a battery if you keep them hooked up while unplugged. The harbor freight float chargers are notorious for this.
