Battery, fuse, contactor

I am interested in specific info on the type of fuse used on the battery pack. I've seen 300 amp, but there are quite a few different types of fuses out there and I was wondering what everyone else is using. Also the same question for the contactor. Thanks (I plan to use a 72v pack initially)

As a side note: I hate to post questions that have already been answered in previous posts, however I have been searching for quite a while, and haven't found the specific information. If the info is out there any direction to it would be greatly appreciated.:)

I have a slow blow 300 amp fuse, it can handle much higher then 300 amp surges, I've seen my amp meter spike at 500 amps before and I have a 650amp speed controller, but even with that I carry a spare main fuse with me.

Albright contactors are the most common to be used because they make some heavy duty contactors, there are some cheap knock offs but a few people who I've talked to who used the knock offs have had them fail! their specs on their contactors are impressive too, the 250 amp contactors tend to be sustained amps with much higher surge and often can open when there is 1000 amps going threw... it's not common to have that happen but because of that they can be used as a safety disconnect that is triggered via the accelerator pedal being up all the way or the key switch being turned off.
