Best Aerodynamic Shape for a car?
I've spent a lot of time looking there this forum. I cant find any definitive shapes. Mostly just things referring to air frames.
Obviously lift isn't all you want. A good mix i'm sure, to keep it light and keep it down. Anyone know of the 'perfect' shape? A top and side view would be ideal. As not just the top and bottom need a design but both sides. |
You can't find any definitive shapes because there are many configurations that can perform well.
If you are interested in learning aero you would be better off studying a good book on it. |
A good aero book that is available is by Hucho. It's the one people reference by far the most. I have a copy, very interesting reading.
Here are some book illustrations, some from Hucho, some from other sources. |
