Is borophene better than graphene?
This is one of those random videos that YouTube showed me when I was logged out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH9szn7lbBIAll that I got out of it is that borophene is simultaneously stronger and more flexible than graphene and all that I picked up from Google is that the name borophene doesn't make sense.
Boro[n]-phene? It would be more like borene, but that was already taken. So, the name makes as much sense as aircrete? |
It seems that you do better when logged out. I've never logged in; but with a fresh new browser, Youtube profiles me pretty quickly.
Borophene doesn't have the years of research that Graphene has had. Maybe it has a 'magic angle'? duckduckgo.com/?q=graphene+magic+angle |
It might be "better" for some applications, yet cost-effectiveness may retain a reasonable market share for graphene.

If you're making things at that scale, you'll need some way to make it move.
