Bought a Maverick today.

2025 XLT FWD hybrid.

Got 1000 rebate for 25, another 500 bucks for being retired military.

33,864 out the door which seems reasonable given today's crazy prices.

Considering doing some sort of aero cap like one I've seen in another thread here.

Are there plans for it?

Will also be adding heated seats.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. These are on my shortlist of "really cool vehicles to keep an eye on."

Congrats.

There are commercially available examples to examine for attachments and such. Aerocaps reduce interior space. Do need that or not?

A high-top with a cubby hole over the cab could be aero.

A soft top might be made retractable.

The ultimate aero would be a bubble top with an integral wing like the VW Golf GTI W12-650:

Plus which, it could double as a roof rack.

Very cool. I wanted to get one last time we were car shopping (2022) but they were pretty much unattainable back then.

I was happy to see that all the hybrid models can be flat towed - including the 2025 AWD version.

For what it's worth:

I searched for your specific vehicle and then did a reverse-image search for a larger version.
There appeared to be minor differences, but it was the same size, etc.

I would like to build a cap that follows pretty close to that pic. I would have the entire top/back be a single opening piece.

Maybe even have that single piece removable for tall loads.
