Which brand of duct tape works best?

I do not use duct tape much, it always seems like the Shouty Kilmer way of making things less broken, but I found this video to be interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbXy3c2oAfA
Someone said they made a graph of his data:

Except they've missed the most important (to me, anyway) test: endurance when exposed to outdoor conditions. In my highly unscientific testing, standard duct tape lasts maybe a month hereabouts, Gorilla tape maybe 4-6.

What you want is:

Nashua 357

In the oilfield we went thru cheap stuff as required. But some problems with pneumatic hoses were only handled by thr above. The Halliburton guys turned us on to it.

The choices presented from posts above are a joke. Tried all them and many more. Overpriced and underperforming.

Another worth having is:

3M 6910 Gaffer

For non-residue removal. Cloth tape with vinyl overlay. I’ve had temp repairs last years. Put a car antenna back together and was still fine when car sold four years later.

I use 3M and Gorilla. Now I gotta check T-Rex.

I have been watching his videos for some time. Made an excellent video regarding seafoam on his truck. I always throw it at them when people try to argue that seafoam does nothing (dispite my own experiences). He makes good videos.

I actually clicked to post that video. He does some entertaining stuff.

3M or Nashua.

I had a bad misfire almost four years ago. After trying a few different things, I put a can of seafoam in my tank, and after a couple of miles, everything smoothed out. Shouty Kilmer has a video about Seafoam being designed for old two-stroke motors, but it still worked on mine!

Was this the video you remembered? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agAWXnT4-EQ

There seem to be five more.
