I take it your Skoda is turbodiesel? What kind of commute do you have? Do you have any mods or use any ecodriving tricks?

Hello Frottage, welcome aboard. There's a small but growing UK and European clan here and I'm sure you'll fit in well.

I've just done my first calculated drive and returned just over 60mpg with a fairly standard 10 year old diesel Golf estate. I'm planning a mod at a time to see which is most beneficial. There loads of great tips here and some great advice from some very knowledgable chaps. Enjoy!

(Something that threw me for a while is that all references to gallons here are US gallons, not our Imperial gallons)
