BSFC maps

Hi All,

I'm a modeler at the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis, and am building an analytical representation of BSFC maps. I'm considering using the maps on the wiki page here (ecomodder.com/wiki/index.php/Brake_Specific_Fuel_Consumption_(BSFC)_Maps), but to do this I need to know the original source of the maps. Can anyone here provide this information?

Thanks,

Mark,

The BSFC maps in our wiki have been gathered from anywhere and everywhere. If you're looking at using specific maps we might be able to track down where it came from, but the chances are pretty slim.

Thanks Doax. I'm particularly interested in these three:

2 Ford 2.0L Zetec

4 Geo Metro 1.0L cleaned up

9 Toyota 3.0L V6 1MZ-FE and possibly the 3.0L 3VZ-FE (Previous Engine)

If you know anything about the source of these, please do let me know.

Thanks,

Mark Delucchi

The 2.0L Ford Zetec map was provided by Tygen1 from a research paper:

MetroMPG made the cleaned up version of the 1.0L Metro map:

I'm not sure where the two Toyota maps came from.
