Butch Gibson w/1991 Geo Metro 3 door hatchback base model

I've worked on cars doing minor repairs but also engine swaps, transmission gear replacement, and other random boondoggle, but not too much in recent years. Switched over to computers since they're smaller and I don't have to get my hands quite as dirty. Just checking in and introducing myself a bit. Hope to be able to learn and share.

Purchased a Geo Metro about 8 years ago from a neighbor who was the original owner. Even though it ran great for awhile, I ended up inheriting a Honda Civic that I started driving. Metro sat for a long time and anyway, slowly been getting it back together with a new exhaust, 13 inch rims tires since the 12 inch rims and tires in my area seem to be a bit scarce although someone offered to special order some new tires for about as much as I purchased the entire set of used 13 inch rims and tires from a local junkyard. Anyway, on my way to driving it daily and poking around with trying to get better performance, gas mileage, or both!

Thanks for the welcome! Metro has a few over 100,000. Mostly highway miles, but still puttering along.
