The most fuel-efficient vehicles for model year 2010.

The only surprise is the Hyundai upset in the large car category, unseating the Honda Accord. BUT... since when is the Accord and Sonata considered large, but the Camry hybrid isn't? It must be just under the size threshold for that class is my guess.

NOTE 1: mpg figures are imperial gallons (20% larger than US gallons)

NOTE 2: NRCan has not adjusted its fuel economy ratings the same way the EPA did for 2008. So the ratings below are roughly equivalent to the "old" EPA tests.

That's a pretty good list, although I will never consider a Ranger a truck.

If it can be used as a truck, it's a truck. The Ranger hauls 1000lbs in the bed and can tow up to 6000lbs. Anything larger is just wasteful, unless you own a construction company or something.

By the same definition (can be used as a truck), most compact hatchbacks are also a truck once you install a tow hitch.
