So my g/f knows I'm really into ecomodder & she has looked @ my computer & seen the pics I have saved of all you guys cool mods. She came over the other day with about 6 or 7 boxes & some duct tape & told me we should go play :) so She & I went out & she helped me make some wheel skirts & a really flimsy kammback, lol. She also made a giant wing & taped it on b/c she knows I hate ricers :D Here are the pics.... http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1247376875 http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1247368155 http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1247368155 http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1247368155

Now that's a cool girlfriend!

Dude. trade? My wife wouldn't even watch me make a grille block for someone else's car.
Man, I love her... lol. She just doesn't care about/understand how efficiency works into our lives. Although she did notice the way that I shop for food, and she understands that we get 2x as much if she does it my way. So... any ABA testing on those new aeromods? You can get those stickers by talking to a mod and offering your first born child... or, I think you can donate to the site as well, and that should get you one or two. |

I had LRR's... they were bigger, and heavier than the stock tires. I took them off a few days ago, and I'm waiting on this tank and the next one to find out for sure if they actually did anything.
It doesn't matter if they did, I sold two of them to a friend who needed some tires for his car so he could get back and forth where he needs to go without asking for rides all the time. I have a feeling they weren't really doing much, though, since they were like 1.5x the weight of the OEM combo at each corner. In fact, I don't want to say for sure that they were hurting me, but I think they were at least canceled out by the weight gain. |

Ayyyyyeeeaaah! That Lexus?!? in black in the second to last photo is sweeeeeet! Wide wheel base but thinking that "car/thing" might lift right off the ground at higher speeds. Maybe the oversized wheels would keep it on the ground...guessing the 4 wheels weigh more than the rest of the car!

Escudo...
That's the Pike's Peak version, IIRC. Twin engine AWD with like 1300 HP. |

more accurately
a geo tracker IS an escudo geo tracker = suzuki escudo (called vitara in europe and sidekick in north america) from wiki: Competition special Suzuki used a specially built spaceframe racing car for hillclimb races with a bodyshell to resemble the Escudo. This race car was specially tuned with 987 bhp and four wheel drive, sporting huge aerodynamic aids. It was entered by Suzuki in a number of Japanese events in the late-1990s, where it beat most of the competition. [1] The car regularly takes part in the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb, driven by Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima and is identifiable by its large rear wing and red paintjob. The car is referred to as the Pikes Peak Edition in the Gran Turismo videogames, although that name has never been used by Suzuki. |

The stock version of the Escudo is a family sedan.
The race version is something like 1000HP or so, and the last PP version I saw was like 1300, and I can't remember what engines they used, but it was twin-engine, twin-drive. It was more like hell on fuel. |
Helps to have all that power when racing uphill
And Ive been driving a regular "escudo" for 10 years |

There was a company that would make FG body kits that resembled the downforce kit on the Escudo... for road use. A friend back in the day found it... I laughed at him... the kit and hardware weighed over 500 lbs, and he thought it would make him faster. |

cardboard and...............
Many of my projects began this way. With a facility for "release",like carnuba wax, poly vinyl alcohol, aluminum foil, etc.,you can fiberglass directly over the cardboard when you get it like you like it,creating durable mods.

Those decals sound like a Top Gear episode I saw, the 24-hour race in the BMW TDI. CarloSW2 |
