Catamaran cars

This is a surprisingly deep rabbit hole:

Championed by one individual in Italy, Pierro Terufi, but it sprang up in Spain and California as well. Terufi started in the 1930s, and ended a company, OSI, in 1968.
  • Girela Randine Streamliner ?t=182
  • Cd 0.10 frontal area 7.5 sq ft ?t=359
  • Tarfi 1 opened up ?t=491
  • California belly tanker ?t=617
  • Twin engined pod racer! ?t=737
  • 1952-3 Pegaso three-views ?t=801
  • ...and ?t=916
  • Finally, the entire second half, from ?t=1176 is the story about Terufi creating the Silver Fox as OSI was circling the drain.
  • Three view at ?t=1463 for your 3D modelling needs
I think the reason I like twin boom cars is having always liked belly tankers. But the open wheel design is suboptimal. But two belly tanks cover the wheels. QED

Genius. Put the thin middle section lower to the ground where the battery sits and a low-height hatch to accommodate 4x8 building material. Adults go on the port-side, and children completely isolated on the starboard side. Make it a 6 or 8 seater.
