.CD Mystery (1998 - 2002 Honda Accord)
 

I know that many others have posted this question before (and all that I have found have gotten answers, which is why I am posting this now :P). After a few hours of searching I have been unable to find the drag coefficient for my vehicle (1998 Honda Accord Coupe EX). I also have been unable to find much of the information needed to use metroMPG's calculator, such as frontal area and whatnot. I was just curious as to whether or not anyone else out there had a car similar to mine and were able to find the .cd. Other than testing, which is hard for me to do where I live, I'm not sure how to find this information.

What years did the Accord have the same body as your 98? That'll help in searching (I'd guess you're more likely to find info in articles about the first year of production).

It's a start anyway. You can calculate your frontal area using a good digital camera. There are a couple of threads about it...

Make a cardboard square of some set size, like 1 sq foot, and take a pic of you car head on, and figure out how to count how many pixels are in the square, and how many for the car

Thank you both so much for the help. I'm always amazed at how fast I can find help on this forum. I can't believe that I was unable to find the .cd info when it took Metro like 5 minutes! Amazing. As far as your question about model year Metro (not that it matters much anymore I guess) 1998 was the first year for this body style at it ran through 2002 with a few minor changes throughout those years.
