Volvo Grill Block

This would be my first ever modification, so I'd appreciate any help. I really like this car and can't even afford to replace it anyway, but the gas is killing me. I figure a good place for me to start would be a grill block.

Mine is not nearly in that good of a condition, but anyway, I figure I can block the lower portion, seen more clearly here:



Any advice?

most people just use coroplast and ziptie it on to the grill. it's easier on the outside of the grill but better to look at if you do on the inside

Try it with cardboard and watch your temps. Efan? Splash pan? If not, I took a piece of AL sheet from the bumper to the crossmember and got GREAT results.

Good idea, I should probably give that a try. How much did your fuel consumption improve?
