Charge at the lights!

BMW has developed LED street lighting that doubles as EV charging posts.

They are to set up a pilot in Munich.

Two street lights are already installed in front of the BMW headquarters. Drivers will be able to pay to charge their cars via a mobile phone app.

I bet they will be pretty easy to find at night :)

Didn't someone suggest that on here? Maybe it was parking meters, but I am pretty sure someone suggested setting up street lights to charge EVs.

Depends on the street light, many in America already have outlets. Is the wooden ones that are a miss. The metal and concrete ones have outlets. :thumbup:
