Cheap Mods for an Aveo?

Hey guys, I am thinking about buying an Aveo soon, probably a 2005. I was wondering what some very cheap mods will be that can help me eek out a few more mpg's.
Here are some of the ideas I was thinking of:
Wheel skirts with some type of plastic, how do you guys attach them? Would some strong magnets work?
Use more of the plastic to seal off some of the grill.

I want them to be cheap and easily removable, these are the only ones I could think of so far. Thanks for any help, I'm new here so forgive me if I say anything stupid :) .

I always recommend the first mod should be instrumentation - either a ScanGauge or an MPGuino. Driving technique is the easiest thing to mod, and it's free :) But you need instant/average MPG feedback to really get into the game.

No reason why magnets shouldn't work to attach skirts.

Oh- and have you seen the 65+ mods list? Sounds like maybe you haven't.

I have read the 65+ mods list now, there wasn't a whole lot about how to install rear wheel skirts. I guess I could remove my mudflaps and that would give me an attachment point without having to drill anything.
