Cherokee front air dam
Just installed the front air dam on the XJ Cherokee. This is easily removable if my destination takes me off road. I probably need to extend the sides out a bit farther but thought I would see if this makes any difference in FE.
I do not have any data yet but will let everyone know how it goes when it becomes available. http://i975.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps8cdd0c36.jpg |
Looks to be a clean installation at a minimum.

You missed a great opportunity to give those front tires some needed coverage.

What material is the dam? Almost looks like you've taken it off a different vehicle...

It's from a 1st gen S10 Blazer.

The sheen of the ABS would be a good match to your airdam, and the pan has nice radii corners, which if cut down and integrated into the airdam, could provide the full coverage to the front wheels that Frank Lee recommended. One pan would do the job. |
Here is how i did mine:
Front View: http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...s9d13307d.jpeg Side view: http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...s1070064f.jpeg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...s1a0b9a93.jpeg Like how the front pumpkin is all covered up http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...s436c6a7d.jpeg Also installed side skirts: From a Blazer Xtreme, attached using 3M dual lock tape. Can take them off and put the back in less then 5 minutes. Tested them out at 75 mph on the freeway and they stayed attached, hope they help with the MPG too... http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...ps36cad399.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...ps867a93da.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g5...ps1bc45986.jpg |
