Wanting to fire up old Volvo

A friend of mine gave me 1979 Volvo 242. It is kind of a back burner project for me at this time. The car unfortunately has fuel in the oil, and I suspect this may be due to a bad fuel pump? After sitting a couple of years I got ambitious one day, and put a fresh battery in it and the motor spins over happily but does not fire. The common approach for me to usually do at this point would be to take the air cleaner off in put a few drops of gasoline into the carb and enjoy hearing it run. But this is fuel injection that I'm not familiar with whatsoever, and don't know what to take apart quickly and temporarily just to shoot some gas or starting fluid in.. Any suggestions? PS I'm willing to eventually put a new fuel pump on it, and change to fresh clean oil, but since the car is just sitting outside for 2 to 3 years, I thought at least hearing it run once in awhile would be better for it then doing nothing. I'm not trying to drive it, as the clutch seems to be pretty much at the end of its life. Long-term wise, if I want to put some money into it, I would like to use it as a rally car. If you have ever watched Swedish rally on YouTube, you can see how fun it would be to throw this car around sideways on logging roads and other gravel rural roads!!!

Other than Googling up an image, I would like it to somewhat look like the Volvo depicted in YouTube Swedish rally Lindekroken 2022 Stenmurssmall, misstag & action! The car pictured at the 35 second point. White car with contrasting green. My car is Factory 3/4 dark green already, and I would be probably going with bright yellow wheels and mud flaps, so haha it would look like a University of Oregon car😁 if I was WITH IT electronically at my age, I would show pictures of the actual car here

I wouldn't give Google the time of day either, but I did look at DuckDuckGo {i.e., Bing] and got no hits. Do you have the driver's name?

I will try to simplify this. I'm sorry I have to tell you the hard way. No matter what your search engine just simply ask for YouTube when you get to YouTube go to the top of the page where it says search then you enter Swedish rally and the video I mentioned is the first one that crops up

Youtube is filter-bubbled unless you open an Incognito window (which can be scary) but this comes to the top in either case; youtu.be/tPADVgKhMXU?t=35

It's blue instead of green but I think it's Volvo because all those mudflaps.

I'm not sure of the condition of the car as I have only driven it from a parking place into a trailer. Surely somebody must know how I can get starting fluid or a few drops of gas into the injectors. I will try with this YouTube thing one more time.https://youtu.be/DJ909Xdnmhw

I give up

youtu.be/DJ909Xdnmhw gets 'This video isn't available any more'. Does it work for you? I don't know why it's so difficult. You get a youtu.be address if you right-click on the window. If you copy from the address bar [or omnibar] you get a youtube.com address.

Are you using a desktop or laptop, or one of those new-fangled pocketable things?
