Is that one of the models with adjustable suspension height? If so, then lowering on the highway would help aero. Also I think the suspension helped when cornering at high speeds.

Yes, it has the Hydroactive suspension.

It's often mentioned that it could still run away in an emergency without one of the rear wheels, with the suspension automatically compensating.
