civic radiator fan amps

Does anyone know how many AMPS a stock civic radiator fan pulls.
I'm looking at getting a Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit from Mishimoto to match my X-Line Performance Aluminum 3 Core Radiator.
The new fan uses 12.25 volts at 5.7 amps = 69 watts.
Hopefully the new one uses less then the stock one to help save gas.
As it is the 3 core rad reduces the amount of time the fan comes on dramatically even with my 95% grill block.
Thanks for any help
Dennis

Blew a fuse for my head lights one time swapped out the fan fuse with a 5amp one drove it like that ever since hasn’t blown in 2 years. 91 civic 1.5L don’t know if that helps.

WD40, how do you like the 3 core radiator?

Smaller fans typically use less amps. You could also hook 2 in series and use one as a pusher and puller to reduce power used and move more air.

Water wetter works well too in making the cooling system work better.
