Clean energy by assimilating lakes into the Borg Collective

This was an interesting read: https://gizmodo.com/could-evaporatin...ewa-1818780636
Towards the end they discuss making natural (or man-made wonders) look like this: http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1506465610 [my interpretation] They say it would not affect weather because that is determined by the oceans. San Diego is 356 miles from Phoenix. http://ecomodder.com/forum/attachmen...1&d=1506466287 According to this, Tucson and Quartzsite would be ideal location for Borg planes, and I am okay with that, because I have no use for Tucson and Quartzsite, but allow me to point out that would introduce humidity into an area with regular 115° temperatures, but I guess I am okay with that, as long as it stays in Tucson and Quartzsite. I once read that windmills were limited in California until the people against them died (of mysterious causes?). Power plants are ugly, but if they created shallow lakes in the middle of nowhere, it should work just fine. What do you guys think? |
Unsubstantiated speculation.
